New York

Well, since I have nothing better to do right now, I will post again.

I have been looking up websites, trying to see what I want to do when I visit New York City in the fall. I am going in October, which means the temperatures will range from "somewhat cool" to "bitterly freezing cold".

I will be participating in three missions projects in Brooklyn. One of them, I will be there with the whole group. It seems to be a lot of fun. The other two, I will be there with a smaller group. I am very much looking forward to being able to serve God in this degree. Last year, all of my projects were in Manhattan, and I only went to Brooklyn one time, and that was on accident. (Hi, Rich!)

This year, I will probably spend some more time in Brooklyn...with a group with at least two men. I would love to go to the Brooklyn Tabernacle on the first Sunday there. Misti, Rich, Amy and Chris went last year, and they said it was really cool.

In more touristy stuff, I want to go visit the Hershey Store in Times Square. (It goes without saying that Weight Watchers will be put on hold for that week.) I also want to visit FAO Schwarz, the oldest toy store in America. I had heard last year that it had shut down, but every website I have visited had said that it was still open.

I also want to take an intensive tour of Central Park. Last year I went for only a few minutes. Aaaaaannd I want to shop the NBC Experience store. Last year I was only there for a short while, because we were in a hurry to get to lunch.

Another place I would love to visit is Chinatown. I would love to go into the little stores, purchase fans and stuff like that...that would be awesome. I would also be up for going to Little Italy again. (Yay!)
